About the group

This group was set up in 1988 and meets to give members an opportunity to have a coffee and chat & swap helpful tips and remedies, with occasional speakers and demonstrations. Refreshments are available.

The group meets 7/8 times a year for regular meetings and for other events and activities throughout the year. They meet in a number of locations – including hotels, cafes and restaurants. They meet for meals, drinks and social gatherings. There are usually between 6 and 16 people that attend the meetings.

The group has two volunteers that act as the treasurer, and Chairperson who organise and run the group meetings. Transport can be arranged if needed by volunteers.
