Chief Executive Officer

I have over ten years’ experience of leadership in the charity sector. I was previously CEO at Diversity Role Models, the national LGBTQ+ anti-bullying charity (Charity of the Year, Rainbow Honours 2024). Before this I worked as a political advisor, and as a leader in the NGO sector including as CEO for two charities (Survivors UK and National Ugly Mugs). I have been recognised for my work both nationally and internationally, including ‘Highly Commended Rising Leader’ at the Charity Times Awards in 2020, and being named in the Pride Power List 2025.

I am very much looking forward to working with the board, the staff and volunteers, to build on the achievements of Dystonia UK and to take the organisation forward in a sustainable and positive way for the benefit of all those with this challenging condition.

In my spare time I like to play football, watch tv and movies and look after Orko, my miniature sausage dog.
