Dystonia Matters 2025 is LIVE!

Following on from our hugely successful 2023 event we’re delighted to be back hosting another national event for the dystonia community. And this year, London’s calling!

We’ll be hosting you at the Radisson RED, a modern, laid-back hotel in West London with great views of Heathrow Airport. Despite the location, it’s peaceful and quiet, with easy access by train, car, and rather unsurprisingly… plane! There’s a range of nearby accommodation for all budgets. So wherever you are in the UK and whether you’ve attended one of our events in the past or you are a first-time visitor, we can’t wait to welcome you!

Dystonia Matters Live 2025 brings our magazine to life with interactive and innovative sessions on 'The Main Stage' and 'The Acoustic Stage.' Featuring guest speakers, from medical experts to community champions, topics will include treatments, mental health, and living well with dystonia.

The event is designed for everyone in our community, adults, professionals, kids, carers & families. Whether you’re joining because you have a dystonia diagnosis yourself, support someone who does or work in the field, there will be plenty of time to connect as a community as well as a chance to explore multimedia rooms, exhibition stands, and more!

The event will be held over 2 days, Friday 27^th & Saturday 28^th June, allowing us to create a relaxed format with plenty of breaks, so you can pop in and out for the sessions most relevant to you and manage your dystonia during the day. We are committed to making this event as inclusive as possible and have chosen an accessible venue with car parking available. We have also taken extra steps to ensure everyone feels welcome including the provision of quiet rooms, alternative formats for resources and other services - all of which can be requested at the time of booking.

We’re also delighted to announce thanks to ongoing support from sponsors and the community, we can offer tickets to Dystonia Matters Live 2025 for free*. We simply ask for a £25pp refundable deposit (to be paid now or closer to the event) to help us accurately plan and ensure we have the right resources in place to help everyone who can attend have a great day!

And finally, while we’ll never forget dancing in a conga line to a bit of Tina Turner at last year’s 40^th anniversary celebrations, this year we are so excited for the first time ever to be hosting The Dystonia UK Awards 2025 as part of the event. With the chance to celebrate the community, enjoy spectacular food and experience incredible entertainment, it's sure to be a special evening.

We really have planned some extraordinary days for you, filled with understanding, connections and celebrations. Dystonia Matters Live promises to be an event you won't want to miss.

*A refundable deposit of £25pp (excluding children 16 and under) is required when booking to secure your place for Dystonia Matters Live. All deposits will be refunded to individuals within 1 month of attendance of the event.
